The name of this Ganesha is ‘Allal Pom Ganesha’, celebrated in the song “Allal pom valvinai bom, annai vayiril piranta thollaipom”. Worshipping him is believed to resolve all troubles. The ancient Tamil text Viveka Chintamani extols the greatness and glory of Selva Ganapathi, who graces the Rajagopuram of the Annamalaiyar Temple. Devotees believe that worshipping Selva Ganapathi, who resides on the left pillar of the Rajagopuram, can alleviate all sorrows and sufferings, bringing peace and prosperity.
Second Abode: Azhathu Pillaiyar at Virudhachalam
The second abode of Ganesha is located at the Virudhagiriswarar Temple in Virudhachalam, where the deity is known as Azhathu Pillaiyar.
At the entrance of this temple, the statue of Azhathu Pillaiyar is placed on the east side, positioned 16 steps below ground level. This temple is considered as sacred as Kashi, and devotees believe that worshipping Azhathu Pillaiyar here will bring all kinds of prosperity and wealth into their lives. The blessings from this Ganesha are said to be abundant and transformative.
Third Abode: Kallavarana Pillaiyar at Thirukadaiyur
The third abode of Ganesha is at the Amritaghateswarar Temple in Thirukadaiyur, where the deity is known as Kallavarana Pillaiyar.
According to the scriptures, there was a time when the Devas neglected to worship Lord Ganesha. In response, Lord Ganesha concealed the Amrita Kalasam. When the devas acknowledged their oversight and worshipped Lord Ganesha sincerely, he graciously returned the Amrita Kalasam to them.

In the Thiruvilaiyadal Puranam, it is mentioned that Maanickavasagar worshipped Siddhi Vinayaka before purchasing a horse for the Pandya king.
Worshipping Siddi Vinayaka is believed to help one achieve success in all endeavours. Devotees seek his blessings for the fulfilment of their desires and the successful completion of their tasks.
Fifth Abode: Karpaga Vinayaka at Pillaiyarpatti
The fifth abode is at Pillaiyarpatti, where the deity is known as Karpaga Vinayaka.
